Pololu and Waipo Valleys
The Northeast Shore of Hawai'i is carved into a series of canyons by the flow of rain fed
upland waters that gather in force as they cascade back to the sea. The most northern of
these canyons is Pololu, the most southern, Waipo. In between these two are isolated valleys
that are hard to reach accept by foot and even then prove to be quite difficult to attain.
